According to Instituto Cervantes (the Cervantes Institute), there are about 560 million Spanish speakers in the world. In the US, more than 40 million people use Spanish as their mother tongue. Spanish is considered the second language with the highest number of speakers if you add up native speakers, second-language users, non-native users with limited competence, and learners. So, based on the data, we can state that learning Spanish is very useful nowadays!
That is why today we launch a new section on our blog: “Let’s go to learn Spanish!” («¡Aprendamos español!»). If you have any doubt in Spanish, you’re not sure about the vocabulary or grammar you use, or if it’s the first time you approach this language, we have no doubt that this section will be useful for you. However, we’ll explain the information in English so that everything is crystal-clear since people who are learning Spanish cannot understand every single detail yet, especially when we’re covering complicated or tricky topics.
We’ll post on our blog and social media every day about new words, adverbs, phrases, idiomatic expressions, etc. in Spanish. Therefore, you’ll constantly have the chance to learn something new with us. Posts included in the section “Let’s go to learn Spanish”, as well as any other posts in this blog, are always classified in topics (vocabulary, grammar, idioms, false friends, culture, etc.) and levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
Besides, if you would like to learn Spanish further in an organized and systematic manner, you can take a look and book our online courses in Spanish as a foreign language (ELE).
