“NO TENER NI PIES NI CABEZA”
This idiom or set phrase means that something is very unclear: it’s a problem, an issue, an argument, or a mystery very difficult to understand because it is confusing or illogical at first sight.
The equivalent idioms in English would be:

- Can’t make head nor tail of something
- There’s no rhyme nor reason to/for something
- It makes no sense at all
Finally, we would like to note that the English version for this idiom includes a different part of the body: cola (tail) instead of pies (feet). This word change occurs in Italian and French as well.
